If one source comes up empty, Konver asks the next.
More than 25 data providers, queried one after another, until the decision-maker’s direct dial is found. No hotline, no manual research.
Your list is only as good as the source behind it.
Most teams buy from a single provider. Every one of them builds its data on different partners, regions and industries, which is why the find rate swings from segment to segment. None of them covers everything.
Whatever that provider does not deliver, the rep looks up by hand. A while spent researching, then a try at the hotline, and no one puts the call through. The next day it starts over.
Part of the list is dialable. How large that part turns out to be depends on industry and region.
60 to 80 percent of direct dials found, across industries and regions.
Average values across customer projects, backed by internal and external analyses.
From a contact to a number you can dial.
A contact comes in
From the CRM, a list or the browser extension. The waterfall starts automatically.
Source after source
One after another through more than 25 providers, until the right direct dial is found.
Call straight away
The number sits in the CRM and in the call list. The rep dials right away, without switching tabs.
Konver checks every month which providers deliver in which segments, and adjusts the order of the waterfall accordingly.
One source against twenty-five.
- Coverage swings with industry and region
- If the number is missing, the rep researches it themselves
- In the end there is the hotline and the gatekeeper
- 60 to 80 percent, in most projects
- No manual research, the waterfall takes over
- A direct dial instead of the hotline
Two out of three decision-makers are directly dialable.
How much of your market you actually reach comes down to how many decision-makers you have a direct dial for. At 60 to 80 percent that is most of them, not the slice a single source happens to cover.
Questions about waterfall enrichment
How multiple data sources are queried in sequence and what that means for the hit rate.
What is waterfall enrichment?
Waterfall enrichment means querying multiple data providers in sequence until a valid phone number is found.
If provider A has the number, it is used. If not, the request moves to provider B, then C, and so on.
The result: a significantly higher hit rate than any single source can deliver.
Why isn't a single database enough?
No data provider has complete coverage.
A single source typically delivers 40 to 50% of the phone numbers in a given target group. And even the numbers found are often switchboard numbers or outdated.
Relying on one source means losing access to a large share of potential conversations.
Do I get direct dial or central numbers?
Konver targets direct dial numbers.
Dialing a central number means reaching a receptionist and hoping to get transferred. A direct dial puts you straight through to the decision-maker.
That saves time and increases the connect rate.
How many data providers does Konver use?
Over 25.
The sequence is optimized so that commonly available sources are queried first. Premium providers are used when the initial sources return no result.
What is the find rate?
Between 60 and 80%, depending on the target group.
For comparison: the industry average with a single data source is 40 to 50%.
What does that mean for my team day-to-day?
Fewer outdated numbers, fewer switchboards, fewer wasted dial attempts.
No more manual searching across different databases. Konver handles that in the background and delivers the number directly into your CRM or the Konver interface.
